Product-family labels are useful starting points, but drawings, interfaces and measured references determine whether parts work together.
You do not need every answer at first contact. Share the strongest reference available and mark unknown details for review.
Metal keycaps
Stem type and orientation, row or profile, height, adjacent-key clearance and switch travel.
Keyboard cases
PCB outline, mounting points, plate, port location, daughterboard, battery and internal clearances.
Switch openers
Housing style, latch arrangement, working orientation and intended switch examples.
Pullers
Target keycap or switch range, access space, grip point and surface-protection requirement.
A model name alone may not identify the exact interface.
Strong starting references
- Clear photos of the product and mating parts
- Exact model, layout or switch-housing reference
- Physical sample availability
Helpful when available
- Dimensioned drawing with units and revision
- Critical dimensions or required clearances
- Fit or operating condition used for approval
The buying guide places compatibility information alongside quantity, appearance, packaging and delivery context.
