Resource / Procurement

A useful request does not need to be perfect. It must separate confirmed requirements from preferences and open questions.

Use plain language. Attach the best references available and identify anything that is still open.

Delivery context

Define where and when the order is needed

  1. Destination & timing

Destination country and preferred timing for review.

Incoterms, payment and final delivery arrangements are confirmed in the quotation.

This makes alternatives easier to evaluate without changing a critical detail.

State as fixed

  • Dimensions or compatibility that cannot change
  • Mandatory functions, markings or packaging
  • Target quantity and destination market

Leave flexible when appropriate

  • Alternative material or finish routes
  • Non-critical appearance preferences
  • Timing options that can be discussed

We will identify the details needed for the next review.
