A wider composition
The extra width makes room for lettering and scenes. Shape and relief are reviewed with the side profile so the design reads clearly beside the neighboring keys.
The underside matters too
Three metal stem positions form part of the keycap body. Open slots allow minor fit adjustment. The selected keyboard and stabilizer arrangement guide fit review; current 2.25U versions use a non-translucent construction.
